Alpine Ascent Adventures – Terms & Conditions

Booking & Payment Conditions

  • A deposit of 40% of the total cost is required at the time of booking confirmation. The balance is payable at or before the start of the tour.
  • You may also choose to pay the full amount at the time of booking confirmation.
  • Payments can be made online or locally by credit/debit card at no extra cost (Visa, Mastercard, Amex accepted).
  • If you prefer to pay by bank/wire transfer, you are responsible for covering any bank charges incurred during the transaction.

Cancellation Policy

Any tour deposit paid will be refunded less applicable cancellation fees levied by hotels and administrative costs as outlined below:

  • More than 40 days before departure – Full refund, less 5% administrative fee
  • 14–40 days before departure – 20% of the tour price forfeited
  • 6–14 days before departure – 50% of the tour price forfeited
  • Less than 5 days before departure or no-show – No refund

Refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation.

Tour Price Includes

  • Safari vehicle and driver-guide services
  • Porters and support staff as per itinerary
  • Meals and accommodation as specified
  • Entrance fees to national parks and game reserves

Alterations to Tours

Alpine Ascent Adventures reserves the right to:

  • Alter arrangements or cancel scheduled tours if conditions necessitate.
  • Decline to accept or retain any participant on a tour, in which case a fair and equitable refund will be made.

Prices are based on tariffs and operational costs prevailing at the time of publication.

Liability

  • Alpine Ascent Adventures and its agents act solely as agents for transport, accommodation, and related services, and shall not be held liable for injury, delays, loss, or damage of any kind.
  • Liability for passengers traveling in Alpine Ascent Adventures’ own vehicles is governed by the laws of the country where the tour takes place.
  • All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the country where the cause of action arises.

Risk & Insurance

Adventure travel involves inherent risks, which clients accept at their own discretion.

  • It is strongly recommended that travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and baggage loss, prior to arrival.
